Nomadic Rabari Tribe #1, Gujarat, India

from $195.00

Nomadic Rabari Tribe #1, Gujarat, India by Annabelle Breakey

During a trip to Gujarat, India (West India, South of Rajasthan) we discovered a caravan of the Rabari people. They are a highly nomadic tribe, and are found in the deserted lands of western India, mostly in Gujarat and Rajasthan. The main occupation of this tribe is shepherding cattle, camels and goats. For pasturing their cattle, they wander from one place to another for half a year, chasing seasonal rains. The women make good time on their routes and the husbands can be found a half a day's travel behind with the herds.

100% of the proceeds for every print sold goes to charity.

Every purchase of fine art photography is printed to order using archival papers and inks.
