After a trip to Southern India, we were busy in the studio, prepping for a job. We had a number of interesting and special props that we brought in for an upcoming shoot. I had brought to the studio many of the beautiful spices that we had gathered from the source: Turmeric Powder, Star Anise, Cardamom Seeds, Black Pepper, Green Pepper, Cinnamon, Fenugreek. We had fresh curry leaves and ginger on hand, among other things. In the middle of a bustling prep day, we paused and took a moment to make this beautiful image with these beautiful things; just because.
